 Keeps your workout data on track, no GPS January 22, 2010

Simple and fairly easy to use. Downloads to Garmin's Training Center and allows you to track more data than you need. Foot pod works from the box, but works better if you take the time to dial it in, calibrate it. If you want to, you can get a pod for your bike and use one tool to track running/walking and biking. Garmin, but no GPS. Have to go up scale and price for that.

I bought this product about 5 months ago, the batteries just lasted 4 months when it spouse to last for 12, I call Garmin International and they ask me to send it, which I did, 2 weeks after, I received a refurbished watch that didn't work either, I call them again and they told me to send it again (I paid shipping twice), 2 week later I got another watch that did NOT work, it was the third one...
2 months later I finally got a new Forerunner. Please don't get in trouble, don't buy this product!
Watch was defective. :-( Died after return window December 3, 2009

I got the watch. I didn't open it right away, but when I finally did. It worked ok at first, I had to replace the battery in the footpod in order for the watch to detect it as soon as I started using it. Then the watch I replaced a few days later. Now it's not working at all.
Outside of return window. I didn't even get the chance to use it at all.
I wouldn't recommend buying this watch. I got a lemon from Amazon.

its been over 30 days now and i can only use the watch. i still can't figure out why the foot pod and heart rate monitor would not sync. any recommendations?
